ELECTRIC FENCING
We need all residents residing next to the perimeter wall to ensure that all vegetation is pruned clear of the electric fence.
WHY?
Electric fencing is one of the most cost effective, electronic perimeter breach deterrent and detection systems.
Our electric fence system consists of a mains powered energizer which provides high voltage pulses to the electric wires on the electric fence. These pulses provide a non-lethal but painful shock to any intruder or would be criminal trying to unlawfully gain access to your property. Any tampering with the fence wires or cutting the electrified fencing wire results in an alarm activation which is transmitted to the security guard house and to an external armed reaction company monitoring the Park fence.
However, the functionality and effectiveness is constantly being compromised by vegetation growing into the electric fence. It causes false alarms and short circuits in the system.
Unfortunately, large sections of the fence cannot be accessed readily for inspections and maintenance and we urgently appeal to all residents residing next to the perimeter wall, to ensure that all vegetation is pruned clear of the fence.

We kindly ask that you clear your lawn of garden furniture, hosepipes and pet droppings before the garden services team arrive.
Please note that services offered only include trimming of the edges and mowing of the lawn and excludes weeding of flower beds.
